WHAT KIND OF CAT IS NICOLETTA?

Hi everyone! My name is Nicoletta and I’m an illustrator and, currently, a comic book artist.

Since I was a little girl, I have always had a strong interest in drawing and art in general. I can say that I had a pretty clear idea of what my future profession would be very early on. "W.I.T.C.H.", the iconic comic book series created by Elisabetta Gnone, Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa was my first love. It accompanied me during my adolescence and my training as a designer, becoming one of my main stylistic influences.

During the three years of the Comics course at the International School of Comics in Reggio Emilia (Italy), I had the opportunity to study and deepen the techniques of storytelling, to grow artistically and meet new authors to inspire me, also comparing myself with my classmates and my teachers, established professionals in the field.

After completing my studies, I had the opportunity to collaborate as a background artist on the graphic novel: "Tintoretto, a Rebel in Venice", published by Sky Arte and TIWI Studio. For the French market, I created the self-contained graphic novel: "Jedda, the Spirit of Water", published by Jungle Editions.

I love the world of video games and concept art, and I would like to explore the job market more deeply thanks to the skills acquired from the study path with the academy of digital arts, Quadra Academy.
